Family dinner at Thanksgiving can sometimes be quite awkward and sometimes even stressful. Everyone has their own opinions and views, and when all of it comes to the table, dinner time can be quite messy. But one of the best ways to alleviate the stress of the holidays is to have a good sense of humor about everything. The holidays can be a stressful time, but arguments are not necessary. This little girl let’s her family know it, too!
This video below features a hilarious family argument taking place during Thanksgiving dinner. It was broadcasted on this episode of “Saturday Night Live” which was hosted by Matthew McConaughey. In this pre-film sketch, everyone engages in political and social arguments.
Fed up with the dispute, the youngest member of the family comes up with the most hilarious solution ever. She starts playing “hello” by Adele. In an instant, everyone in the room stops arguing and starts singing the song.
Many people don’t think of McConaughey as a comedic actor, but he is actually hilarious and has been in many comedies. He’s hilarious in this clip as well. SNL doesn’t disappoint with this sketch that so many of us can relate to. We’ve all been there when families argue during the holidays. At least this helps us to keep a sense of humor about it and laugh it off.
