Australian Jason van Genderen shows us how a little caring can go a long way during a lockdown. His family put together a fun-filled shopping trip at home for his mother, an 87-year-old suffering from Alzheimer’s and Vascular Dementia.
The whole family got in on the action, with a counter full of groceries prepared while the wall even sported the logo of their favorite supermarket. Wife Megan, baby daughter Evie, and “cashier” son Art each played their part.
Small but fun activities like this broke the monotony of quarantine in Australia for this family, and their 87-year-old mum loved it. This family sets a fantastic example, putting in the effort to make a loved one’s day brighter.
