Their hit song ‘Don’t Let Go’ is a powerfully emotional journey that showcases the incredible talent of the group. ‘Gentri’ is short for ‘The Gentlemen Trio,’ who started singing together in 2014.

The group is comprised of Brad Robins, Casey Elliott, Bradley Quinn Lever, and composer/arranger Stephen Nelson. In the performance video for ‘Don’t Let Go,’ the men are in a field in front of farmhouses and the sunset, wearing shirts and ties.

The story of the song shows two men arguing. It is a father and son. The son is getting into fights, drinking, and stealing from people. After being thrown in jail, the son reminisces about times with his father throwing the ball around, driving together, and being tucked into bed as a child.

The young man gets out of prison and meets a girl, but things don’t go well, and he ends up drinking again. The girl leaves him, and he is left sleeping on the street. He’s lost it all and ends up hitchhiking his way back to his father’s house.

His father sees him and runs out toward him, crying. He helps him up, and they hug each other. The father helps his son inside the house arm-in-arm. The touching story set to the beautiful singing is truly a moving event.

‘Gentri’ is a tremendously talented group of singers who know how to express emotion through song. Their fantastic vocal tone and blend are a joy to listen to, and their performance videos always pull on the heartstrings.
