Emotional Father's Day Surprise for Donny Osmond Set up by Marie

A man in a suit smiles warmly while embracing a child, both appearing happy and affectionate.

Donnie gets a big surprise on an episode of the 'Donnie and Marie Show' filmed on Father's Day. Things start off normal, but there's an emotional twist around the corner waiting for Donnie.

A man in a suit gestures while speaking, seated next to a woman in a light blouse on a talk show set.

Marie reads a letter from a man who is a stay-at-home-dad in celebration of Father's day. Donnie comments, 'Every man should try to do what their partners do!' He looks at Marie with admiration and says, 'I don't know how you do what you do!'

A family of five stands together in a hallway, dressed in formal attire, with a child in the center.

Marie reads another email from a kid that says, 'Happy Father's Day. If asked what I'd admire most about you, I'd have to say the fact that you're a party animal. I also love the fact that you enjoy a good laugh and always take pleasure in making me laugh.'

A man holds a young child, both smiling warmly in a cozy indoor setting.

Donnie seems to realize this letter may be related to him. He looks very serious and mouths questioning words to his producer. Marie continues to read the letter's words, 'I miss you so much. I want to let you know that I love you very much, and I hope that I can live up to the name we both share!'

Donnie puts his head down and starts crying. Marie comforts him, and the show puts up a picture of his son, Don. It is an emotional moment for the studio audience and everyone watching the show.

A group of people, including children and adults, are seated in a living room setting, engaged in conversation.

Then Marie says, 'How can you work on Father's Day? Come on down!' Donnie's whole family appears and comes out on stage. Everyone is shedding tears and hugging, and Donnie is so happy clutching his youngest.

Donnie introduces his family, and the studio audience applauds. His wife says Donnie is good at laundry, but he's a horrible cook. The kids tell Marie that when Donnie gets mad, he uses a ridiculous lower-pitched voice. His son does an impersonation, and the audience laughs. It is a great family moment that everyone shared together in this moving clip!
