They Were Filming Their Talking Parrot On Camera, But They Never Imagined They’d Capture This Next

Parrots are one of the most fascinating creatures on Earth, with an amazing ability to mimic their owners and even perform for us. If you don’t agree with me, just watch this mind-blowing clip of a parrot that is so talented and sure to entertain.  It features an adorable Congo African Grey parrot called Einstein. He was hatched on June 15, 1997 and he now lives with his loving family in Texas. Einstein rose to popularity when his impersonation of Matthew McConaughey went viral on the Internet, and now he’s at it again. This video is another one of his awesome viral videos that his owner, fortunately, recorded for us.

In this clip, Einstein sings “Singin’ in the Rain.” According to his owners, this is his original rendition of the famous song written by Arthur Freed in 1929, and later made very famous as a movie with the same title, and sung by Gene Kelly in 1952. You are going to be in stitches when you see this guy perform for yourself. He is so adorable!

The clip begins with Einstein on his perch, waiting for instructions. The director adjusts the scene and lighting, all for effect, of course, and Einstein even says goodbye when he leaves the room. Then he warms up and sings a short rendition of the song, all while standing on one leg, which is also something he’s famous for. He is a charmer, that’s for sure.

People often confuse him with another parrot that appeared on a TV show called Animal Planet in 2006, but there is truly only one Einstein.

Watch Einstein the talking parrot in the clip and let us know if you enjoyed it via your comments! We’d love to hear from you!
