Recently, a house was engulfed in flames in Glendale, Arizona. The firefighters could hear a dog barking and a high-pitched squeal coming from inside the nearby garage of the burning house.
The first responders rushed to save the life of the innocent dog. However, they did not know they would save more than one life that day. They could not open the garage door, so they used a shovel to break the door.
A poor husky (later named Mona) bolted out of the smoke-filled garage. However, the first responders could still hear the high-pitched squeals asking for help. Unfortunately, due to the smoke inside the garage, it was difficult for the officers to trace the seven puppies.
All the seven little newborn babies were trapped inside. The rescuers were tense, as there was a very high chance that the babies were not getting the proper amount of oxygen they needed to survive.
One of the officers found the first puppy gasping for air underneath the car tire, and the others were gasping for air nearby. This was when a cop decided to load the seven puppies into a large food bowl.
He rushed out with all the little ones. The cops massaged the tiny little puppies to clear their lungs of the smoke. One of them was in bad shape due to smoke inhalation and had to receive oxygen from a special mask designed for pets.
Doctor Enrico Carluhen, the vet who treated Mona, informed everyone that the mama Husky and the puppies were safe. The dog was nursing her babies very well, and all the little ones were breathing correctly.
