Growing up, I remember that seeing a bald eagle in person was a rare and special moment. Even now, just seeing a large eagle or hawk fly by is enough to get a whole group that I’m with to stop the conversation and watch these majestic birds with their complete focus and attention. These are truly noble creatures, and every second we are near them is a second of awe and wonder.
For Jessie Peak, an Alaskan fisherman, seeing a bald eagle is no big deal at all. According to Jessie, there are countless bald eagles in the Alaskan area, especially around the harbor where he is based out of. For Jessie Peak, feeding and interacting with an entire flock of bald eagles is just another part of his regular day.
