A lot of us take our time daily to groom ourselves in front of mirror. We are used to seeing our own reflection in the mirror. But have you ever thought what it would feel like to look at one’s own reflection staring back for the very first time? We probably can’t expect to experience those feelings, but we can learn by observing the reactions of the animals who haven’t yet encountered a mirror.
A few researchers were curious about the reaction of animals upon seeing their own reflection for the first time. That is why they fixed a large mirror on the middle of the forest where every animal would pass by. They also fixed a hidden camera in the tree so that the reactions of the animals could be recorded. And this footage is the result of that project!
