Waiting for your flight may prove to be a considerable nuisance. There may be several reasons for a delayed flight, such as air traffic control, mechanical problems, and bad weather. Nonetheless, waiting for your flight in a crowded airport is frustrating.
However, sometimes you find people who try to make the long waiting process seem easier for crew members and co-passengers. Such highly talented folks often want to surprise everyone with their beautiful performances.
Recently, a few fortunate passengers at the Kansas City Airport enjoyed a performance by The Gentlemen Trio (GENTRI). They had a surprise song planned for the weary travelers. With the help of the airport crew, the musicians sang a rendition of "Over the Rainbow."
Their video started with an apology for the delay of the flight. Then one of the members began playing the ukulele, after which the other members joined in. Finally, they started humming together, causing some of the waiting passengers to look up.
Most of the passengers were exhausted and barely in the mood for anything. However, this did not dishearten the singers. Soon, after hearing the beautiful song "Over the Rainbow," the passengers relaxed.
The beautiful voices of the 3 singers filled the waiting room amidst the hustle and bustle of the busy airport. Some of the travelers started recording this surprising moment on their phones.
Most of the passengers did not expect such a surprise. The singers were singing the song's high notes without much effort. Every line of the song was flawless and in sync. All the travelers definitely loved the unexpected medley.
