Alida was diagnosed with Neuroendocrine Hyperplasia of Infancy (NEHI). The disease these are unable to breathe without an oxygen tank. As it turns out contains a heavy and just carrying one around can cause you to be sure a breath, though alone have a pre-existing breeding issue.
Alida’s parents wanted to make it easier on her and give her the autonomy and the freedom that she should be able to experience. With this disease very difficult to do some simple things like just walk in the park.
When Alida’s parents heard about service dogs they immediately went out to adopt one. They were able to find a service dog named Mr Gibbs. Mr Gibbs is the star of this video. He helps Alida to live a normal, life like a normal kid.
