Girls sing happy birthday to dad but spontaneously burst into tears when he blows out candles

The Busby family is definitely not typical. There are eight of them: mom, dad, and six, count ’em, six kids. But what really makes the Busbys unique is the fact that they’re the only family in the United States with all-girl quintuplets. To look at it another way, they don’t really have six kids, they have one plus five. There is a difference!

Dad’s birthday was an extra-special occasion: this was the first time all six daughters were celebrating it with him. Mom made a cake and put a non-embarrassing number of candles on it. Now, dad and all the girls were gathered at the table, with mom filming the charming scene. Given what was about to happen, we could say he was outnumbered six-to-one (or seven, if we count mom). But for the time being, everyone was having a great time, not least when all six daughters sang “Happy Birthday” to their dad. Your own private chorus is quite the birthday gift! Now it was time for dad to make a wish and blow out the candles. A dozen little eyes watched as he pulled the cake closer, huffed, puffed, and blew out all the candles. Blayke, the older daughter probably thought this was the perfect ending to a birthday party, but the quintuplets were not happy…

What followed was a kind of chain reaction. One of the quintuplets started giving her father a very different birthday serenade and the other four promptly followed suit. Ava Lane, Olivia Marie, Hazel Grace, Riley Paige, and Parker Cate all made it clear what they thought!
