Golf courses have seen their share of unusual visitors, ranging from alligators climbing out of water traps (“Take the penalty?” “Yeah… now drive that golf cart as fast as you can!” ) to monkeys roaming the greens. It’s all part of their being near some parts of nature… and who can resist a golf game? I don’t think many people have had an experience like this one guy did with a fox.
We see a golfer getting ready to take a shot. Judging by his form, he’s definitely not a professional. Just as he’s about ready to swing, we see that he’s got a cute, furry visitor. It’s a fox, and he’s not scared of humans in the slightest. The little critter has his eyes set on something laying on the greens – it’s a cover that protects the golf clubs when they aren’t in use. “Whatever,” thinks the fox. “I’ve got a new toy!” He grabs it and starts running off.
The fox seems to think it’s a game. The golfer chases him a bit, the fox drops the club cover, the golfer takes it back to the tee… and drops it to the ground. What’s REALLY hilarious us when the fox runs out a bit to a bunker, drops it there, the golfer picks it up and the fox acts like the golfer’s now “It” and chases HIM. He’s not being aggressive at all – and it ends when he scurries back into the woods.
Of course, this would have been a lot shorter video if the golfer had just been smart after the first time of snatching it back. All he had to do was put it in his club bag and that would have been the end of it. It would have been the equivalent of people telling Swiper the Fox on “Dora The Explorer,” “Swiper, No Swiping!” Yes… I have a young child. Why do you ask? Then again, this video wouldn’t have been that fun if he did that.
