Alzheimer’s is difficult not only for the patients, but can be difficult for loved ones as well. Alzheimer’s, a chronic neurodegenerative disease, starts off slow and gradually worsens over time. It is responsible for 60% to 70% cases of dementia, and affects half of people over age 85. It also has no known cause or cure.

The video gives us a glimpse into the life of Nora Jo, and what it’s like to live with Alzheimer’s. Nora’s granddaughter has been caring for her the past two years. Everyday Nora is reminded that her husband is no longer living and she has to relive daily the learning of his death. It’s heartbreaking to watch, but people need to know more about this horrible disease.
