Grandpa Scares off 3 Attackers Without Breaking a Sweat

A white van is parked next to a white sedan in a dimly lit parking area.

You may have heard the term "carnapping" before, for those of you who’re unfamiliar with this word. Sometimes these events happen on gas stations.

Self-service gas pumps are used by most people today; carjackers identified service stations as excellent locations to find plenty of victims. In this footage, you'll see how one quick-thinking senior man defended himself.

Many drivers leave their keys in the ignition, and their cars unlocked when they get out of their cars to use self-service gas pumps.

While the driver is putting gas in the tank, the carjacker can simply open the car door of the target, get in the car and drive away.

Grandpa scares off 3 attackers

In this video footage, you will see this man peacefully taking his time filling gas to his car, then suddenly the shocking incident happened. As a man was filling up his gas tank at the pump, four people in a white van tried to car-jack him.

Most people right there would assume the worst. There’s just no way one man could fend off three carjackers at the same time. But with age comes wisdom.

As seen in the surveillance video below, this senior had no intention of being a victim. His quick-thinking actions undoubtedly saved his life.

It’s good to see these crooks getting their just deserts, but we cannot recommend anyone do this. This is a last-chance, use-at-your-own-risk, self-defense maneuver if you’re suddenly over-powered by attackers at the pump with no other recourse.
