Turns out that the old saying about dogs being “man’s best friend” is real. As Tracy McCoy recently found out in Oklahoma City, dogs can be pretty handy around the home.
What started as a typical day quickly took a different turn when a stranger walked McCoy and her son’s home on a Monday. Thankfully, Dubai was keeping watch and would have none of it.
With The camera rolling, the 122-pound Great Dane saved the day when McCoy screamed at the sight of the stranger. Strangely enough, the man had initially petted the dog as he walked in.

Incidentally, McCoy believed that the shuffling sounds were not harmful. Of course, that was before she came round the corner and saw the intruder, Robert Ward, walking comfortably in her home.
Immediately McCoy screamed; Dubai understood that the intruder was not welcome at the property. As the surveillance video shows, the suspect was quickly escorted out of the building by Dubai.
Dubai swang into the action, escorted him out by the rear end with his teeth. She watched as Ward ran away only to come back later on the back of a patrol car for identification purposes by police. Officers responding to the scene spotted the man walking in the neighborhood and took him into custody.
One day after the break-in, Tracy, Nathaniel, and even Dubai are still shaken up and trying to comprehend how to move on. Tracy shares the incident changed her perception about life, how you feel, security, and confidence level at that moment.
