Poor Ellie cannot get her beauty sleep, as her sister, Maddie, is making so much noise! Ellie, the Great Dane, tries to bury herself in the covers as Maddie wants to greet the morning. It is just too loud and noisy for Ellie. Maddie is standing on top of the bed like she owns the place and is disturbing Ellie.
Maddie wants to be heard, but Ellie tries to ignore her. Maddie is on the bed, begging for attention, but she is getting dissed by her sister. Maddie jumps off the bed to sniff around. Maddie even puts her rump to Ellie’s face, but Ellie still rejects her cries for attention. Maddie cannot stop moving around and howling, and Ellie wants her quiet.
Maddie finally settles down and lays on her bed. She looks over at Ellie, once again, for attention, but Maddie refuses to look directly at her or respond. It is funny how the puppy stops at nothing to get attention until she is quietly told to settle down. Maddie finally listens to reason.
Maddie lays down on her bed as her mother in the background praises her for being a “Good girl.” The puppy finally cooperates, and her mother and Ellie feel relieved. Maddie may have just wanted attention, even if it was to be told to settle down. When Maddie settles down, Ellie is annoyed enough not to go back to sleep!
