A senior Malamute is making people laugh with a video of him growling at his owner's friend while accepting head scratches from him. The hilarious and heartwarming video shows a grumpy old boy with mixed feelings about a new human in his house.

The Malamute, Phil, was sitting with his owner on the couch when he started growling at the sight of Teddy. He simply didn't want his owner to share his love for Phil with Teddy.
Teddy eventually decided not to interfere with his owner and his brother Phil. Instead, he thought it best to climb on the couch quietly behind Phil and sit down comfortably alone. But Phil was not happy with Teddy's decision.

He continued to growl even though his owner coaxed him to sit on his lap several times. His growl was only for Teddy as he affectionately put his paw on his owner's lap several times.
Nico, the female dog amongst the three Malamutes, also growled at Phil for his behavior towards his brother Teddy. However, she finally left the family and decided to sit elsewhere all by herself.

Not caring much about Phil's growls, Teddy lay down peacefully behind Phil. Finally, after several minutes of giving menacing growls, Phil decided to calm down at the sight of Nico. The latter returned upon being called by the owner's wife and climbed the couch.
Nico also settled down between her owners, and soon after that, their owner started to caress Phil's forehead. This seemed to have a calming effect on Phil, who stopped growling and began enjoying his owner's love.
