Imagine the feeling of being packed in a concert hall, filled with adoring fans for the singer on stage. Many of the fans have signs that they’ve made, expressing their love and appreciation for everything the artist has done. Suddenly, the performer stops the concert, asks someone to pass up a sign that she can’t read, and proceeds to read it to the crowd.
This is what happened for all of the fans when Gwen Stefani performed at West Palm Beach, Florida. She noticed a sign that stuck out in the crowd and had it passed up to the stage. She began to read what it said: “My son was bullied from first to fifth grade. He would come home every day upset, but he would go to his room, listen to your music and smile.”
She was so moved by this that she immediately called for the boy to come up on stage and gave him a hug, having everyone at the show stand up to bullies everywhere. He was later invited to come backstage and meet Gwen’s sons, who were around his same age.
This was such a beautiful moment that this boy will no doubt remember for the rest of his life. Words can really do the moment no justice. You just have to watch this for yourself and see what an impact this had for everyone at the show.
