Harvey Korman loses it to Tim Conway’s hilarious improv

The Carol Burnett Show was an American variety/sketch comedy show starring Carol Burnett, Harvey Korman, Vicki Lawrence, and Lyle Waggoner.

The show was aired on CBS from 1967 to 1978 and was so successful that it was revived for one season in 1991.

Soon after Waggoner left the show in 1975, Tim Conway became a regular. He was known for making his costars break character in the middle of sketches with his impeccable comedic timing.

In this sketch, he plays the role of a doctor who is also “the world’s oldest man.” The sketch is filled with hilarious gags involving Conway trying to make it through a routine house call for a sick man played by Harvey Korman.

This duo consisting of Conway and Korman, was one of the most popular because Conway was highly adept at making Korman laugh during their sketches.

This classic episode, and all the other ones from the 1960s and 70s, are making a comeback thanks to the Youtube channel, The Carol Burnett Show Official.

This particular episode has been viewed over 2 million times, and many of the other episodes have similarly gone viral. The Carol Burnett Show is considered by many to be one of the seminal works of American comedy from the 1970s.
