A video showing the journey from egg to a goose in just six minutes has animal lovers across the internet mesmerized. Filmed on Gold Shaw Farm in Vermont, the owner, Morgan, talks us through the process of hatching a goose egg.
Morgan finds the species very powerful as their growth from a gosling to an adult goose is quick. In just seven days, the bird looks more like an adult goose than a gosling.
Morgan says it is not suitable to compare the chicken and goose eggs as the goose eggs are entirely different. Holding a goose egg in your hand is an altogether different experience. Goose eggs are raised in two ways. Either they are sat on by their mother goose or placed in an incubator for thirty days.

The hatcher of the eggs should be very careful to adjust the humidity & temperature and the proper rotation so that the embryo inside the egg develops appropriately. In approximately a month, there will be changes in the goose eggs. There will be cracks on the eggs as the baby gosling try to push out of the shell to break free.
However, this is a difficult task for a baby gosling and is a huge struggle for them. Only a lucky few only make this journey. During the first forty-eight hours of their life, the goslings try to keep themselves warm and not even bother to eat. However, once they start to eat and drink, they become ravenous. So, Morgan feeds them with food that is necessary for them to grow correctly.
Morgan leaves them in the open field to graze to get the feel of growing in a natural environment. The first few days of their lives are spent eating, sleeping, and repeating the steps again and again.
Morgan finds the species very intelligent even when they are just hours old. In days, they grow from a baby gosling to an adult goose and join the breeding flock on his farm. They enjoy lives of freedom as they roam the farmlands, waiting to usher in the next generation.
