When people at the beach see strange animals running through the beach, they are mesmerized. They can believe their eyes when they see what animals are in the water.

It is a herd of about twenty-five elk running across the waves trying to get across the shore. The elk are literally treading on some very dangerous waters out here.

The onlookers are all quick to take out their cameras and record the action. Some are even heard calling each other to come to see the animals. It is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

This sighting is seemingly more disturbing to the onlookers at Cannon Beach, Oregon since they are familiar with the tides and know just how bad it gets at this time.

The elk are also not playing around with the water. They seem very keen not to get too close to the waves and are even running to avoid contact with the water.

After running for a while, the herd seems to now be getting closer to the edge where they’ll have more space and consequently be out of any significant danger.
