In this video, we are treated to a fabulously choreographed dance by high school students. This isn’t your typical high school dance routine. These kids are waltzing in full gowns and tuxedos!
The girls enter to the song ‘Willow’ by Jasmine Thompson. They are all dressed in the same white flowing gown, and they look like a parade of princesses as they fill the high school gym floor.
The boys enter afterward to the pop hit ‘Perfect’ by Ed Sheeran. After walking toward the center, they pair up with a young lady and perform a beautiful waltz together.
The grace and poise of these students are quite impressive. They sway with their partner, but they also circle up and pass through each other’s arms. The routine lasts for over 5 minutes.
It is like a scene out of ‘Beauty and the Beast,’ with these students dancing as if they are in a grand ballroom. The floor outlining the high school basketball court is completely forgotten by the majesty of their dance.
The hours and effort these students had to put in to make this a success is remarkable. The audience roars in appreciation as the students come toward the edge of the court for applause.
This is not your average high school prom scene. It is more reminiscent of a romantic movie’s conclusion. These students did something very unique, and their family and friends are blown away!
