There are a variety of different ways people enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors. You can spend hours on the water kayaking, go on a scenic drive through the countryside, or go hiking in the mountains.
A group of hikers in Sussex County, New Jersey, were having fun on a beautiful sunny day. Taking a break after an intense trail, the group was resting on a large piece of rock before they spotted something closeby.
Right behind one of the hikers, there was a curious black bear. It’s not abnormal to see a bear while hiking in this area of New Jersey but to see one so closely was a rarity. The brave humans decided to walk away before the animal got any closer slowly.
Thankfully everyone is safe, even after the bear continued to follow them. If you ever spot a black bear in the woods, it’s important to not turn your back towards it, and appear as big as possible while making a ton of noise.
