The owner of a playful young colt filmed the cutest moment ever. The eight-month-old colt was attempting to play ball with an elk when Tamara Miller hit record on her camera.
One day, on the snowy Montana property, the colt was running along the fence with the elk on the other side. The brown colt races back and forth along the fence, engaging the elk.
The colt tries to pick up the ball and throw it over the fence. The colt tries and fails for the first minute, but soon she gets the hang of it and chucks it over the fence.
The elk is not really interested in the ball though. While the colt is being playful, the elk appears to be a little more territorial. It seems to be attempting to show the colt who’s boss.
There are five other elk in the background of the shot as they stay further away from the colt. When the colt finally gets the ball over, the two animals run together up and down the fence line.
The elk happens to be one of the largest species in the deer family, and this one seems to be quite aggressive. While the colt is a young horse who seems more interested in being the class clown!
The elk is a little on edge as the excited colt makes some unpredictable moves. The two animals stare at each other, run perfectly in step, and stop and stare again. The elk shows no intention of ever throwing that ball back to the colt!
