Summer is a great season, but the heat is not always appreciated and sometimes, especially for animals, it can be oppressive. So they have to make the best of what could be a bad situation. Sometimes, though, dealing with the heat does have some perks, like relaxing around a pool or getting a tan. And it looks like horses are quite similar to humans too! They love jumping in the pool and avoiding the heat like we do. Take for example this adorable horse in the video below!
This horse is called Duke and he is going to crack you up with what he does. He goes up to a kiddie pool and though he seems a bit cautious at first, watch what he does next! He looks a little wary at first. Maybe he’s never seen a kiddie pool before. But it doesn’t take long to figure out the advantages of having this pool in the yard.
I guess the heat became unbearable, so he started splashing around with his front feet in the pool. His owner is encouraging him while he films. Then Duke really got in the spirit of things! He put all four feet i in the pool and started splashing water everywhere! His family is standing nearby, and they can’t help but be amused at his behavior!
But splashing isn’t enough for this horse! Nope, eventually he lays down in the pool! He’s behaving more like a dog than a horse.
