If you’re stuck inside because of the quarantine from the coronavirus, chances are you’re eating a lot more home-cooked meals. Something that you can easily make without a machine that is delicious and filling is homemade pasta. Below we talk about how to do that and include a video as well.
People don’t realize how easy it is to make pasta. The only ingredients you need, you probably already own – flour and water. You don’t need one of those expensive pasta making tools either to get the job done.
Take out a rolling pin, a knife, and a pot to cook the pasta in. If you don’t have a rolling pin, you could use something like a wine bottle instead. Jamie Oliver teaches us that you simply add water to flour in a bowl until it’s not sticky.
Roll out the dough until it’s nice and thin. Sprinkle a bit of flour over it and then roll it up. Slice up the roll, and shake off any excess flour. Throw it into a pot of boiling water for a few minutes and you’ve got yourself a delicious serving of homemade pasta.
