Hummingbirds might be tiny and cute in appearance. Still, they are known as territorial and aggressive, especially when defending their females and foods. However, they are totally harmless towards humans unless provoked or threatened.
On the viral video footage, a group of more or less 30 hummingbirds can be seen taking their morning bath as if they are having a pool party in a residential place.
It’s surprising to see a group of hummingbirds interacting with each other since they are territorial and aggressive. But in this clip, you can clearly see how they bond and enjoy the moment.
Not to mention that more hummingbirds came and would love to be part of the happy gathering. Unfortunately, the pool is already full and can’t handle a few more guests.
This footage shows us that we have a lot of things to learn about these insect-sized hummingbirds. Regardless of the behavioral findings and studies, their personalities and characters might change according to their environment.
However, no matter how small they may be, we should never underestimate their capabilities, especially bringing fun and happiness to each other… or even to us humans.
At the end of the day, respect, love, and proper understanding are what we can offer best to acknowledge their presence in our surroundings.
