Some husbands come up with bold ideas and bless them, you’ve gotta love them for it. Of course, wives usually know when it’s time to call in the professionals. Husbands… not so much.
When this husband decided to do a little landscaping, it included a tree that needed dealing with. Digging out a few plants is one thing, but taking on something as big as this can be dangerous and unpredictable.
Most people would agree that tree-removal is definitely one of those areas best left to the professionals, especially when we’re talking about a giant oak tree.
I was surprised when I saw this man with his truck tied to a tree, ready to hit the gas and bring the huge stump down. I was certain it would fall right on his shiny new truck!
This gung-ho guy, however, decided to use his truck and a rope to solve the problem. Surely it would be cheaper? But perhaps not cheaper than a new truck. What transpired next provided immense entertainment for the wife, and perhaps a sense of triumph for her spouse?!
The video below is exactly the kind of laugh I needed, especially considering I have some tree clean-up to deal with this coming summer. I think I will take a page out of this clever husband’s playbook.
