Hope For Paws is a non-profit animal rescue organization that works hard for the rescue of animals that are suffering on the streets and in shelters. They have successfully completed an astounding number of wonderful rescues. This time, they received a call about a sick and homeless dog that was in need of rescue.
Fortunately a neighbor had been feeding the dog while looking for help. The rescuers noticed right away that she was blind in one eye. She was in a very bad condition. A lot of her fur was missing due to flea infestation. On the way to the vet, they named her Phannie. There were no serious injuries dealt though. Shortly after she was rescue, Phannie underwent surgery that restored her vision. She is in a safe place now!
