The couple’s choice of an acoustic arrangement of “Hallelujah” creates a stripped down, almost romantic mood to the original song as the two skaters dance perfectly in sync across the ice.
Madison’s barely pink sequined outfit compliments the pure and intimate quality of the performance. The female commentator highlights the dancers’ ability to express emotion with their every move.

Judges agreed. Zach and Madison earned enough points to secure the first place crown. After the win, the couple tells interviewers that they love to celebrate the moment, but quickly look forward to the next challenge. They want to set the bar even higher for the next Olympic opportunity.
Zach and Madison give credit to their coach and choreographer who has encouraged them to believe in themselves and regain even more confidence after earning 4th place in the 2018 Olympics.
