The men that make up the quartet are all from different backgrounds. Making the ups sound more appealing to the masses. The multi-national vocal group was originally created in 2003. Since then, the group has released ten albums, with over 30 million copies sold worldwide.

In 2005, The musical crossover group became the first of its kind to reach the Top 200 Billboard in the USA. The group began with the help from the famous, Simon Cowell, best know for judging talent contests on television.

In August of this year, Il Divo released another album named Timeless. This being the first album released through Universal Music.
