Poaching is a menace that has rendered over 50 animal species close to extinction.
In this video we see how Izzie, this sweet little monkey is rescued by the Belize Forest Department when she was being smuggled by poachers.
After being rescued, Izzie was handed over to the Belize Wildlife and Referral Clinic where she received appropriate treatment. We are happy to say that she is in good health now!
