It is a social convention that dinner is family time. It’s a great time for everyone in the family to talk about the day and hear about everybody else’s. It may be the only time that your whole family is together in the whole day. But nowadays he doesn’t happen as often as it used to.
The manufacturers of Italian food, Dolmio, think that is a tragedy. They began running a campaign spreading the message that “Technology has hacked dinner time.” With people generally so much more interested in their phones than their own family I think that this is a good message to spread.
This video has had nearly 10 million views, so clearly I’m not the only one who agrees with Dolmio’s message. Watch this video and see why so many people agree with this message.
