If we could all just be as patient at ‘Bailey’ the Golden Retriever, the world could be a better place! The loving dog allows a tiny kitten to literally use it as a pillow for its nap.
An adorable light orange and white cat lay on top of a tired Golden Retriever named ‘Bailey’ for its midday nap. The dog lays in position on its belly on the bed while the cat moves around every ten seconds.
It starts on the dog’s back, and the kitten moves to Bailey’s inside paw on the side of his nose. The cute kitty is trying to sleep the entire time, and so is the dog.
It appears the kitten is getting much more sleep than the dog because it keeps moving around, waking Bailey. The caring dog pants heavily while the kitten sleeps like a baby.
Every now and again, the dog’s one eye pops open. Sometimes the kitten raises both eyelids for a few seconds, but it falls right back to sleep, knowing Bailey is on protection patrol.
Bailey is very protective of the tiny kitten, and sometimes it’s hard to see precisely where the kitten is because their fur matches one another. It is uncanny that Bailey is so content to let the kitten get comfortable at its own expense.
The two share their owner’s bed for an afternoon nap in a heartwarming scene of friendship. Bailey has true parental qualities of love and concern for his slumbering kitten buddy!
