If you have ever had a cat in your life, you understand the truth behind “you can take the cat out of the jungle, but you can’t take the jungle out of the cat.”
While our feline companions are lovable and adorable, their history of domestication is much shorter than their canine counterparts. This proximity to the wild is responsible for many of the goofy behaviors they exhibit.
Some owners might disparage or scold behaviors like stalking, pouncing, or chasing. Still, one cat mom decided to embrace her cat’s wild nature, and as a result, their connection has flourished.
Mega, the kitten, started sneaking up on her mom, Licia, from day one. And when sneaking evolved into sneak attacking, Mega’s mom decided to play along. “I wanted to play with him back,” Licia said.
There are very few cat parents out there that are willing to wrestle with their fur babies, but the tousles between these two are some of the most adorable play fights to watch.
But Mega does not just like to play. He also has a sweet side. “When Mega is being sweet,” his mom said, “it’s the best thing in the world.”
Their connection might not be the most conventional of relationships. Still, it’s clear how much the two of them love each other, even if that love gets channeled through occasional hair attacks.
