Laugh out Loud With Tim Conway's Relatable Struggle With a Child-Proof Bottle

Few comedians are as beloved as Tim Conway from 'The Carol Burnett Show.' In this sketch, Tim wrestles a childproof bottle They introduce Tim as "The President of Vortex Industries, Mr. Lloyd Adams."

Tim is sitting behind a desk in a large office, sporting a mustache and wearing a suit. He greets the people and talks about the challenges presented to their company by the manufacturers of pharmaceutical products.

He says that Vortex has solved this problem with the new 'Safety Top Medicine Bottle.' Tim says the bottle can't be opened just by twisting. Then, he turns the cap, and it starts to click. Tim says, "That's how you know the safety cap is working."

Then he says to open it, all you need to do is apply pressure and twist. Tim tries this but fails multiple times, and he struggles to open the bottle. A stage worker hides behind Tim's desk and tries to open it for him without being seen!

He grabs Tim's hand and bangs it on the desk instead of the bottle. Then, the worker grabs the bottle and takes it under the desk. You can hear the banging on the floor as Tim continues to try to talk over the distraction.

Tim continues talking for a few minutes, and the stage member returns with a hot tea kettle. The water is boiling and smoking, and they pour it on the bottle. Tim gets water on him and crosses his eyes in pain, saying, "Woooow!"

Tim eventually settles and gives the bottle to the crew member. They walk off-stage as he tries to close the commercial. Off-screen, you hear an explosion, and pieces of the wall fall onto Tim's head. His final expression is priceless.
