Pandas are really adorable and cuddly. They might very well be one of the cutest things in the entire world! The tiny little panda in the video is about to meet her mama for the very first time. They were separated after she was delivered due to fear that the mother might eat her or kill her. Isolating a baby panda and their mother is usually done when they are around 18 months old, but the zookeepers did not want to take extra risks.
The baby panda seems like she is about a month old. At the beginning of the video, the little thing was brought into a controlled environment and left all alone on the floor. And then mama panda arrived. The first interaction between these animals is beyond adorable. I thought she was really trying to eat the baby, but what she did next stole my heart!
This baby panda was the Taipei Zoo’s newest resident and no doubt one of the cutest. After the baby was about a month old, they left the baby in a room alone on the floor, and allowed the mother to see her before letting her into the room.
When the mother finally came into the room, she seems very excited to see the baby and takes the baby’s head in her mouth. At this point, I wasn’t sure what was going to happen, but I figured it must be good or they wouldn’t show it on YouTube. Sure enough, she picks the baby up, cradles her in her arms, and immediately starts feeding her. She gives her lots of hugs and it is so sweet.
