Levine, Christina Grimmie’s Coach On The Voice, Made A Gesture Of Kindness That Had Me Crying!

It’s never easy when you lose someone close to you. Everyone involved with the popular talent show The Voice is still trying to come to terms with a death in their proverbial family.

This summer, former Voice contestant Christina Grimmie was in Orlando, Florida signing autographs following a show. What should have been a time of happiness and sharing took a dark turn when a gunman approached Grimmie and shot her multiple times.

Grimmie’s brother chased after the gunman and tackled him, but the shooter managed to get one more round off, killing himself. Grimmie passed away later that night due to her wounds.

The talented singer placed third during season six of The Voice. She touched the lives of everyone she met, and shared a close relationship with her coach, Adam Levine.

Levine was devastated when he heard the news of Grimmie’s passing. He took to social media as a way to share his reaction to the news. He wrote about how she was “a natural, a gifted talent that comes along so rarely.”

Grimmie’s manager, Brian Teefey, organized a GoFundMe page to cover expenses following the attack. Fans all over the world donated to the cause, and Adam Levine paid for Grimmie’s funeral.
