There are some animals that can be more easily domesticated than others. Lions are wild animals which make them unpredictable and difficult to train. Even seasoned lion trainers are constantly on guard when they are in the company of lions. A small mistake can trigger a life threatening attack as we see from this clip!
In this video we are shown an entertainment act involving both humans and lions. The trainers poke the lions and guide them to perform the rehearsed tricks. But when they poke a lion too much, it becomes aggressive. He turns on one of the trainers and it affects the other lions in the cage! It’s like a chain reaction, and the other lions also begin to get agitated.
The trainers find themselves facing a dangerous situation in a cage full of lions. People outside the cage were ready with water hoses and sprayed the animal. It was clear they were there the whole time in case just such an incident happened. This tells me that something is definitely wrong and that maybe they need to stop treating the lions this way. Thankfully it is brought under control in the end.
I find it incredible that after the attack, the people in the cage with them don’t leave the cage and they continue poking and threatening the lions! I imagine the trainer who was attacked initially must have been injured, but he was able to walk away from it.
