There are some jokes out there that are cute but they have a really crude undertone. You wind up wincing when the punchline arrives. “Ha Ha. That’s funny… Yuk.” They can be in the most benign of settings too. The thing is, I’m sure some of these jokes actually happened in real life at one point or another. If that’s the case, then I feel really sorry for the Dad that had this happen to him. That’s fatherhood for ya!
A two-and-a-half-year-old girl is home with her dad. She brings him water to drink from her new tea cup set. After a couple of times, Daddy is smitten with this new ritual. When Mommy gets home, Daddy tells the daughter to go get more water. She gives him a cup and he drinks it. The joke ends with the mother telling the father, “You realize the only place that she’s tall enough to get water from is the toilet?”
I would imagine the next scene would be Daddy running into the bathroom with at least three containers of mouthwash and a toothbrush to scrub his tongue until it’s raw. That’s what I would do after learning that my child had given me several cups from the toilet. Then again, I would have picked up on it right away since our toilet water is dark blue from the toilet cleaning product we have in the tank. HA!
