With beach season fully upon us, there has been no shortage of adorable dog videos to prove that your pets love playing in the sand just as much as you do. And the best part? They don’t even need much more than a stick to play fetch to have the time of their lives.
A recent compilation is working evidence that our pups are just as ready to hit the water for a cool-off as we are. Whether taking a nap on a swimming pool floaty or having the time of their lives on a sunny beach, we’ve seen plenty of videos that prove our pets are just as keen as we are to soak up some rays.
So when YouTube user Munchito696 took his pup, Lola the German Shorthaired Pointer, along for a beach adventure recently, it’s no surprise that she was enjoying all the benefits of a sunny retreat. And she didn’t need much in the way of entertainment, either. Forget your Frisbees or driftwood sticks! She wanted nothing more than her own leash for fun, turning it into something of a chew toy in all of her excitement.
I mean, hey, who can blame her, right? It’s not every day we have the opportunity to hit the sand for some fun in the sun.
