Have you ever wished your beach day had been better than what you actually got? Sure, we all have. I tend to plan my vacation time around the weather, the days off I have left at the office, and luck. I’ve had some very awesome vacations, but there have been a few of them that had actually turned into disasters.
I remember my first spring break in Cancun. I don’t know if you have ever gone there, but if not, you are certainly missing out. This great Caribbean beach feels everything like the Bahamas, but at a fraction of the price. You can get excellent accommodations with English speaking staff that will make sure, you are having a fun time all the time.
It’s better to shop in advanced because it does get very crowded on Spring Break, but once you do, you’ll see it was definitely worth the wait. The first time I went there, I had just started college. I had saved a little money from working a part-time job, and I was eager to see if what I had heard about Cancun was true. Well, it was true and then some.
Every day was like a carnival over there. The parties were non-stop, and you could either drink away is any of the fine bars in the beach, or just mingle and get to know a few of the thousands of people you can meet at the beach. I ended up meeting a girl who came from Switzerland, and we ended up having a blast. We still talk from time to time, and we have met there several years.
The weather there was nice, except for one day that was a little windy. That day I had gotten up early to catch some waves at the beach, but it was too windy. In the afternoon the weather was much better, and I could catch some sun before heading back to the hotel. Overall, I would say it was great; great people, great weather and great times.
I thought I’d had bad vacations in the past until I saw the following video. A group of beachgoers is taking the sun and relaxing on what looks to be the perfect day at the beach. Suddenly, the weather changes and surprises everyone on the beach. It starts getting so windy that it starts blowing umbrellas, towels and many other things. Then, the unexpected happens…!
