On America’s Got Talent Patrick Kun talks about how he always wanted to be a magician growing up. His parents weren’t supportive of his passion, so he would practice it in secret.
The judges ask him a few questions and they find out that he is from Pittsburgh and that he is married. Simon asks if he was born with magical powers and Patrick says he sold his soul a long time ago.
To begin his performance he walks up to the judges’ desk and shows them a sealed deck of cards in a box. He asks Simon to unwrap the plastic so he can open it for the first time.
He then spreads the cards out on the table, showing everyone that the cards are arranged in order of suit. He has Simon shuffle the deck. Then he makes all the aces suddenly appear in his hands.
Handing the aces to each of the judges, they all sign one with their signature. Placing the cards on the table he makes them appear and reappear out of thin air. Even putting it under Howie’s hand which is flat on the table.
Patrick collects all the cards into the single deck once again and he asks Sofia and Heidi to place their hands on top of it while it rests on the table.
When they lift their hands the deck is back in the sealed box and he asks Simon to unwrap the plastic again. He pulls out the cards and shows them they are in the same order but this time all the aces have their signatures on them.
