Majestic Animals Visit a Beaver Dam From Fall to Winter

A serene wetland scene with a small stream, dry grass, and a dense forest of evergreen trees in the background.

Northern Minnesota has a spot for a beautiful beaver dam in the Kabetogama Peninsula wilderness in Voyageurs National Park. A camera was set up that captured all the majestic wild animals that visited the area.

From fall to winter, the transformation of the environment is breathtaking. The green trees and grass slowly turn brown and finally stay icy white once snow covers the ground.

When a bright orange fox stands on the frozen surface, he is as clear as day. The dam was between the border of two wolf packs, and one group is seen more frequently in the footage.

Various animals can be seen visiting the particular location. There are birds, beavers, otters, foxes, wolves, deers, and birds. The flowing water makes it perfect for swimming.

Before everything is frozen over, the otters and beavers still go for a dip in the cold water. Once it is solid and slippery, more animals are confident walking across the slick surface.

Some of them even slip and slide across. The otters are especially playful in the snow. You can see them bury themselves under the deep snowfall to hide from predators.

The golden light of the sun hits the snow, and the ground sparkles like stars. A single beaver dam shows the majesty of nature at all hours of the day.
