Mall stores we loved, but no longer exist!

If you were a child in the 20th century or the early 2000s, the mall is probably a place that holds a lot of nostalgia for you. This short video revisits some of the forgotten shops from the golden age of malls.

Towards the end of the 1900s, the mall was more than just a place to find a last-minute holiday gift. Back then, this giant building was the place to be. It was a perfect place for teens and a location to spend a lazy afternoon.

With some strategic stops at the coffee shop, cinnamon roll store, or food court, you could spend the whole day window shopping. Most teens spent days at the mall daydreaming of things they could buy one day when they had their own disposable incomes.

Unfortunately for our childhood selves, not all of those shops we used to visit have survived the intervening years. Fortunately, we can still revisit them with help from videos like this.

One store that is likely to ignite the interest of your inner child is the Warner Bros Store. This old shop was one of the main competitors of the Disney Shop. It featured all the classic cartoon characters from Marvin the Martian to Bugs Bunny.

If you were more of a bookworm, you probably spent some time at one of the 1000+ Waldenbooks shops. This gargantuan bookstore used to be the perfect one-stop shop for the literary friend in your life.
