Mama Dog Carries Orphaned Kittens Into Her Crate At Shelter. This Is Truly Amazing To Watch.

It’s amazing to see what animals will help each other, even if they are different species. I think it would be a great lesson for as many people as possible to watch something like this. We should all be inclusive and helping each other, not shunning one another for perceived differences. I mean, for crying out loud, this video has a dog nursing kittens. The world didn’t stop spinning, did it?

We see a beagle named Mary feeding her puppies that she recently delivered. Those aren’t the only occupants of her crate, though. She’s also bringing in three kittens that were dropped off at the shelter that she lives in. The woman handing her the kittens to carry back into the crate may be a volunteer or her mommy, but I like to think of her as the mommy. Mary is licking the kittens with love as they all rest in the crate.

There was one funny moment when Mary was determined to bring the final kitten back in her crate. Her mommy was feeding the kitten with a syringe and Mary is trying to grab the kitty off her chest. Her mommy even says, “I’m feeding this one” and taps the pooch on the snout with her syringe. Undeterred… I guess that she was on some kind of a tight schedule here, she gently clamps her jaws around the kitten’s middle and carries it back to the crate. Even her mommy knew to give up by then, sighing that she would be back in an hour.

It’s so cool that Mary was willing to foster these orphaned kittens. She has a watchful eye on them, even stopping one from trying to climb out of the crate. This video was uploaded in May 2014, so these kittens are now fully grown… and so are Mary’s puppies. Hopefully, people adopted all of them. This pooch would certainly be happy to know that her babies are all in safe, happy homes.
