“The Elephant Nature Park” in Northern Thailand is one of the best elephant rescue and rehabilitation centers worldwide. Their team of volunteers ensures that they help the elephants and several other animals like pigs, cats, and dogs. They also ensure that they support any animal species needing their help.
One of the animals living at the elephant rescue was Pyi Mai, a baby elephant still learning to eat on her own. However, her mother, Khuam Moon, and nanny Sri Nuan were always beside her, training the little one on how to feed herself.
A few days ago, the little elephant was found exploring the vast elephant rescue. The naughty baby elephant soon decided to attempt to eat the delicious pumpkins. However, before she could do so, Pyi Mai played with the pumpkin as if she was playing with a ball.
Pyi Mai was excited to find so many fruits on the ground for her to eat. The adorable young one tried to eat the fruit but could not break the pumpkin. So Pyi Mai kept on rolling the fruit, trying to eat it.
Later, the baby elephant was joined by her mom, Khuɑm Moon, and nanny, Sri Nuɑn. The two majestic elephants demonstrated the skills of eating hard-shelled fruits. Then, they taught Pyi Mai to smash the pumpkins properly before they relished it.
The little Pyi Mai gladly took a bite of the pumpkin and ate it. The baby elephant was a quick learner. However, the baby elephant needed more strength and practice to master the art of smashing pumpkins properly.
Nonetheless, Pyi Mai was pleased with what she had learned today. She happily enjoyed her meal which her mother, Khuɑm Moon, and nanny Sri Nuɑn had already prepared (smashed) for her. The mama elephant and nanny were glad that the young one relished her meal.
