In this adorable clip, a dog mom is faced with her litter of pups. They are climbing all over each other to get near her. She is behind a dog gate looking at them. Her name is Rosalie.
The puppies will not let her enter because they are simply too excited. When Rosalie’s human owner opens the gate, she has to push her way through the group of crowding puppies.
As soon as Rosalie enters, she is hounded by the pups, who try to get under her belly. She begins to growl at them. Rosalie barks loudly and moves off of the pile of puppies. She stares them down, one by one.
The puppies have backed off, and they are slightly confused about what to do next. They all start to sit or lay down a few feet from their mom. She is on patrol, still growling and staring at them.
One of the puppies gets too close to Rosalie, and she lunges toward them with a huge bark. She stands at attention, looking over the room, giving an occasional bark to remind the puppies who’s in charge.
Rosalie starts to nestle one puppy, and another comes over toward her. She puts her head on its head and starts to give it love. The other puppies slowly approach her.
Things appear to be calming down when a pup bites her tail. She quickly spins around and barks right at them. All the puppies scatter away once again. She continues to patrol the room, reminding them that mama is in charge!
