The love a parent has for their child is incomparable. More often than not, we have heard examples of parents going out of their way to help their children. No matter how much their little baby grows up, they still want to protect them from possible harm. And that is not the case with just human parents, but animal parents as well. Take, for example, the video below.
It features an adorable duck family travelling together in a tight little team. But all of a sudden, a strong gust of wind tears them apart. The wind blew the tiny ducklings everywhere. It toppled even the mama duck.
You can’t help but be concerned for the little guys. I never thought about wind carrying an animal away like that, but a duckling only weighs a few ounces, so it’s pretty easy for them to get tossed about in the wind. These were some lucky ducks, though. They were in an open space in a park, so there was nothing dangerous nearby for them to fall into, like an open drain.
Mama duck was, of course, very worried about her babies after this happened. She took immediate action. After the wind and chaos subsided, mama quickly gathered her army of ducklings and they went off happily together. She looks as if she’s counting them to make sure they are all there. It is heartwarming to watch.
