YouTuber Stuart Edge has a particularly favourite Christmas memory from his time as a teenager. He fondly remembers the year when his church did a Secret Santa exchange and told his mom they should buy things to give as a donation. He didn’t know at the time, but money was really tight for his family. However, they bought gifts regardless of their situation. On that Christmas Eve, he remembers his mom telling him and his brothers that they shouldn’t feel sad if they didn’t get a lot that year, because they didn’t have a lot of money. Later that night, someone knocked on their door and dropped off a bag full of gifts for the whole family.
Stuart says this memory always stuck with him, and wanted to do something similar for others. This year, he decided to play Secret Santa by handing out envelopes filled with cash to random strangers at the mall. He has a creative way to distribute the envelopes, and most people look around in disbelief when they open the envelope and finally realize the envelope really is for them. They look for the person who delivered it, but there is no one there. At the end of the video, he tells how Best Western Hotels made it all possible.
